Bringelly Road Upgrade
- MB Landscaping was contracted to provide the landscaping for the Bringelly Road upgrade. The project required the provision of landscaping for the central median dividing the four lanes and the verges of the walking/bicycle path.
- The upgrade aimed to increase road capacity, improve safety for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, and improve access to adjoining motorways and the airport.
- The landscaping needed to align with these aims whilst being visually appealing, easily maintained, and blending well with the surrounding area.
- Our advice was sought on landscape design and plant selection.
- The result was a happy client, with the quality of our work and contribution to the upgrade of Bringelly Road, considered an integral part of the project’s success.
Environmental considerations with construction and revegetation
Heathcote Road bridge is situated in a high quality biodiversity area including adjacent National Park.
Construction will have potential biodiversity impacts including direct impact from vegetation removal and potential indirect impacts such as from works directly over the waterway.
